Manslaughter Review is an online literary journal featuring stories of blood and mayhem. As our name would suggest, we publish crime stories. Our exact sensibility will be more obvious once we publish a few issues; until then, if you wrote a story where felonies were committed, please check out our submission guidelines.
Manslaughter Review is an annual journal edited by Minnesota-based writers Matt P. Ryan and Trenton Burns.
Matt P. Ryan is a former criminal defense attorney. He currently teaches creative writing at Concordia University St. Paul. His work has appeared in numerous journals and received three Pushcart and one Best of the Net nominations. In addition to loving crime fiction, he also loves poetry. He was the founding publisher and editor of Lowbrow Press.
Trenton Burns studied creative writing at Concordia University St. Paul. He wrote a pretty good story once.
